A New Era in Philanthropy

Yesterday I spent the afternoon with our friends at PSI, as they along with Devex and Fenton released their newest report, “Global Giving: A New Era in Philanthropy and Investment in Global Health.” The report outlines the recent trends in global giving, including information like the countries who are giving the most and receiving the most. While the facts are definitely interesting and worth checking out, it was the trends that really had me thinking. Three trends in particular. It is time for all of us to think differently about philanthropy and investments in global health and that’s why so many of the beliefs and values in Future Fortified’s Manifesto for good nutrition hold true to the newest trends in philanthropy.
